For this practice, you will need a bolster and two blocks. If you don’t have a bolster, use two firm pillows or a stack of folded blankets or towels. This practice is not about pushing yourself physically or gaining flexibility. Give yourself permission to rest, rejuvenate and recharge in order to receive healing and a well-deserved break.

While I enjoyed the poses and some of the things she said truly resonated, there was a little bit too much talking. And that bang sound kept scaring me and leaving me almost bracing in anticipation for it.
Great and truly restorative.
I return to this practice time and time again. One of my all time favourites.
I have to agree with the other reviews. As much as I love the restorative yoga and the structure of this class…. 1- there is too much talking even though i love Lauren’s voice 2- the thunder noise reminds me of someone banging on a metal door to smash it open like a scary movie or a scary hostel. The first time it got me jumping and had my heart pounding.. i thought. ok that is a mistake abut it happened all the way through. Other than this.. I love Lauren.. I love this App I love the quality of the teaching and i usually love the talking… But in restorative… not as much.
Although I find this a nice practice, the gun shots in the music (I can not describe it differently) are distracting me and give me a feeling of hostility. I have done this practice a few times and each time I tell myself I have to deal with those sounds, but I simply cannot.
This was an ok practice- I felt a little confused at some of the directions, and the music…the periodic bang sound in the music kept jolting my nervous system making it hard to fully relax. Probably won’t do this one again, but there are others I’ve enjoyed. Lots of talking too- I would love more silence.
Would add that the introduction wastes almost the entire first pose because she talks through the almost the entire pose. We are adults, please just let us relax a little. A short 30-sec intro at the beginning of each pose would be plenty.
Way way way too much talking. Talking should be reduced by at least 50%. All of her talking detracts from the restorative aspect of the experience. Will be looking elsewhere for restorative yoga videos.
This is my absolute favorite, especially when I am struggling with stomach pain!

The introduction was somewhat frightening, not soothing. And the hard explosion like sounds induced stress and discomfort. But I liked the poses and it was great that the importance of rest was reinforced.
The music was disconcerting and the random loud gunshot sounding beats
This is deeply healing and brings peace to all levels of our being, blessings and thank you dear Lauren.
For someone who rarely stops to breathe, these sequences have brought me so much calm.
So very pleasant and restful
