ALCHEMY
A seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or integration. Together, we will transform the body, mind, and spirit throughout this series. We will create new ways of thinking, being, and believing. Our bodies, minds, and hearts will be the alchemical containers, and with the combination of movement, breath, and awareness we will evolve our physical, mental, and spiritual practice that is Yoga.
This series includes four 30-minute asana practices that correlate to the elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. The days between each asana practice include a 10-minute Dhyana/Pranayama practice.
To supplement this series, over the course of the next 28-days, make an effort to get outside at least once a day with your bare-feet on the earth (grass, stone, sand, water, or whatever may be available to you depending on your location) and take a few deep breaths. Reciting the mantras from each practice, calling in the qualities that resonate with you on the inhales, and releasing all that you wish to leg go of moving forwards with every exhale. Make this a daily ritual. If you cannot get outside for whatever reason you can still perform this practice in your home on your mat, before or after each practice.
